Calling all residents and ratepayers of Ward 1, Municipality of Huron Shores: You can help the Thessalon Township Recreation Committee find a new name for the committee and win a prize. The Committee is responsible for the Little Rapids Gazebo, Ball Park, and Community Hall. The Committee is also the driving force behind the Spring ATV Run, scheduled for May 28th this year.
Eligibility: Only Residents & Ratepayers of Huron Shores Ward 1 may enter the contest (former Twp. of Thessalon, including hamlets of Little Rapids and Nestorville). Flyers containing contest entry information are being mailed out to Ward 1 residents this week, click here to download a copy or visit the Municipal Office to pick one up.
The winning submission will be eligible for a gift certificate from the Little Rapids General Store.
Submit your entry and send it to the Thessalon Township Recreation Committee Naming Contest, c/o Municipality of Huron Shores, PO Box 460, Iron Bridge ON P0R 1H0.
Entries must be received by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2016 to be eligible.
