The Municipality received the following release from the Algoma Kinniwabi Travel Association (AKTA):
“You are invited to attend the upcoming Ontario By Bike Workshops taking place in Algoma Country, brought to you by Tourism Northern Ontario and Ontario By Bike.
The Ontario By Bike Network is a marketing initiative and destination development tool that certifies businesses for free to become bicycle friendly and helps them tap into Ontario’s growing cycle tourism market and reach the increasing number of visitors and local residents who participate in cycling activities in the province.
Ontario By Bike will be hosting 2 Cycle Tourism Development Workshops: one in Blind River, and one in Sault Ste. Marie to provide tourism businesses and other interested stakeholders with valuable tourism research and program information on Ontario’s cycle tourism sector. Attached are the agenda and posters for each workshop.
Blind River Workshop
Date: May 24th between 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Location: Blind River Marine Park – 1 Marina Road, Blind River, P0R 1B0
Sault Ste. Marie Workshop

We encourage you to take advantage of this exciting marketing and product development opportunity. Please help us get the word out by sharing this opportunity with any other businesses and colleagues that would benefit from the workshops.
