On Tuesday, June 20th, the Huron Shores Public Library is hosting a Canada Day Celebration from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Library, located at 10 Main Street next to the Municipal Office in Iron Bridge, will have displays of works by Canadian writers and publications/resources about Canada and our history. Our volunteer Fire Department personnel will be on-site with equipment demonstrations that are fun and educational for all ages. Representatives from the North Channel Healthy Kids Community Challenge Committee will have a display and provide updates on the Committee’s activities to promote healthier life choices and physical activity for kids and their families in our area. Refreshments will be served.
The Huron Shores Library Book Club will be meeting at 2:00 p.m. This group of avid readers meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. If you like reading and talking about books and writers, you’re welcome to join the discussion.
