March Break 2019 (choose one day from March 12, 13, 14; 10:30am – 3pm) : “Create an App in a Day” Workshop for High School Students Are you a parent of a grade 9-12 student? Register your child for one day this March Break for an introduction to the world of coding mobile applications (apps) – brought to you by YouLaunch and the Sault College Information Technology Studies Department. To start, students will get a short run down on career options and schooling requirements needed to enter into the area of Computer Science and Information Technology. We will then get into app creation with a hands-on introduction to the coding environment and then move into creating the first app. Once completed (and time permitting), we will guide students using other app starter code options to try other types of apps such as interactive games.
