DESCRIPTION:Fire Prevention Week is October 4th to 10th/15:  “Hear the BEEP Where You Sleep”.  It’s the law in Ontario to install carbon monoxide (CO) alarms on each storey in your home and adjacent to all sleeping areas\, if you have a fuel-burning appliance or an attached garage.  Smoke and CO alarms\, and combination units are available for purchase at the Municipal Office.  To learn more about fire safety and meet your Huron Shores Fire Fighters\, check out the Fire Department Open Houses on October 6th at the Little Rapids Fire Hall and October 8th at the Iron Bridge Fire Hall\, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.  In addition\, please visit the Fire Prevention Week home page by clicking on the link below.
