DESCRIPTION:Every Thursday beginning on August 9\, 2018 from 6:00-7:00 pm at the Iron Bridge Recreation Centre.  Hosted by the Iron Bridge Recreation Committee. \nFee by donation. Families are all welcomed to come! There will be toys for children to play with\, or they can join the walking group. There will be fitness tracker sheets available; a prize will be awarded for the most active participant. \nBenefits of walking:\nEvery minute of walking can extend your life by 1.5-2 minutes.\nIncreases physical activity.\nLowers obesity rates.\nLower risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes\, stroke and heart disease.\nReduces stress and depression.

FREE Community Event | Saturday\, May 10\, 2025 Iron Bridge Recreation Centre | 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM (Tentative Time) \n\n\n\nIn celebration of Kids Mental Health Week\, the Iron Bridge EarlyON Centre and the Municipality of Huron Shores invite local clubs\, organizations\, farms\, and camps that offer programming for children and youth to participate in a special community event! \n\n\n\nThis is a wonderful opportunity to: \n\n\n\n\nShowcase your group or organization\n\n\n\nPromote your programs to families in the area\n\n\n\nOffer demonstrations of your sport or activity\n\n\n\nConnect with children\, youth\, and parents\n\n\n\n\nWe’re looking to include demonstrations of dance\, karate\, soccer (in our outdoor fenced area)\, 4-H\, and more! Riding stables and farms are welcome to bring animals\, and we’ll have space available for larger displays as needed. \n\n\n\nEach group can request one or two tables to share information.
