DESCRIPTION:Notice of Public Education Session #2  \nHuron Shores Flood Risk Assessment  \n The Project  \nHatch Ltd. completed a Flood Risk Assessment for the watershed within the Municipality of Huron Shores from September 2021 through March 2022. This assessment identified high-risk flood areas within the Municipality and provides recommendations for continued studies in flood mapping and mitigation under the Government of Canada’s Natural Disaster Mitigation Program (NDMP). The NDMP was established to reduce the impacts of natural disasters such as floods on Canadians.  \n Join Us Online and Learn More\nWe invite you to join us online to learn more about the results of this project. The presentation will include a project overview\, a description of the work completed\, a discussion of project results\, and provide an opportunity to submit questions.
