As with the two previous years\, Melwel Lodge has again generously offered BBLA members the use of their facility at the main dining room. \nAs with the two previous years\, Melwel Lodge has again generously offered BBLA members the use of their facility at the main dining room. \nIn order to accommodate the check-in and check-out timing of their guests\, we have together determined that Friday afternoon is the only available time to host the meeting at the Melwel Lodge venue. \nThis is a change from our normal Sunday morning meeting time. However we see this as an opportunity to incorporate a social event with the AGM. Monique at Melwel Lodge will be catering a BBQ with hot dogs and hamburgers immediately following the AGM. DESCRIPTION:Every Thursday beginning on August 9\, 2018 from 6:00-7:00 pm at the Iron Bridge Recreation Centre.  Hosted by the Iron Bridge Recreation Committee. \nFee by donation. Families are all welcomed to come! There will be toys for children to play with\, or they can join the walking group. There will be fitness tracker sheets available; a prize will be awarded for the most active participant. \nBenefits of walking:\nEvery minute of walking can extend your life by 1.5-2 minutes.\nIncreases physical activity.\nLowers obesity rates.\nLower risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes\, stroke and heart disease.\nReduces stress and depression.
