DESCRIPTION:The NSHN Auxiliary – Thessalon Site will host a Spring Luncheon & Bake Sale\, Thursday\, May 9/19 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the IOOF Hall\, Thessalon.  Cold plate & dessert being served.  Bake table.  Tickets for Afghan available.  Proceeds to local hospital to assist with the purchase of equipment.

DESCRIPTION:Every Thursday beginning on August 9\, 2018 from 6:00-7:00 pm at the Iron Bridge Recreation Centre.  Hosted by the Iron Bridge Recreation Committee. \nFee by donation. Families are all welcomed to come! There will be toys for children to play with\, or they can join the walking group. There will be fitness tracker sheets available; a prize will be awarded for the most active participant. \nBenefits of walking:\nEvery minute of walking can extend your life by 1.5-2 minutes.\nIncreases physical activity.\nLowers obesity rates.\nLower risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes\, stroke and heart disease.\nReduces stress and depression.
