The 2025 Final Property Tax Bills are currently being mailed. Included with your bill is the 2025 Fall Newsletter.

Tax payments may be made in two installments, with due dates as follows:

  • September 29, 2025
  • November 28, 2025
    (the last business days of each month)

The Municipality strives to ensure all tax notices are mailed on time to the most recent address listed on the assessment roll. To update your mailing address, please complete the Mailing Address Change Form or contact the Municipal Office at 705-843-2033 or email@huronshores.ca.

Please note: It is the responsibility of the taxpayer to ensure payments are made on time, regardless of receipt of the tax notice.

Payment Options

  • Interac e-Transfer
    Auto-deposit e-Transfers are accepted for taxes and other payments. Send to eft@huronshores.ca and include instructions in the message box indicating where payment should be applied.
  • Interac/Debit Card
    Available in person at the Municipal Office.
  • E-Payments (eBilling)
    Online payments are available through eBilling. Set up your account by following the step-by-step video tutorial on our Financial Department page.
  • Canadian Financial Institutions
    Payments can be made through telephone or online banking by searching “Mun Huron Shores.” Each roll number must be entered as a separate account. Please ensure the correct amounts are applied to the corresponding tax bills.
  • Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) Program
    Ratepayers may enroll in PAD to authorize automatic withdrawals on each due date. Download the enrollment form for full details.
  • Cash or Cheque
    Accepted in Canadian funds at the Municipal Office.

Reminder: When paying electronically through your financial institution, please allow 2–3 business days for processing to ensure payment reaches the Municipality’s account on time.
