Update, April 1, 2025
Many residents have noticed challenging conditions on gravel roads across the municipality. Recent weather — a sudden thaw followed by a sharp freeze — has created soft, unstable roadbeds, frost heaves, and deep ruts that have since hardened.
During the thaw, roads become too soft to support heavy equipment without causing further damage. Now that temperatures have dropped, crews will begin grading and scraping where conditions allow, starting with priority areas.
Your safety and road access are important, and our team is actively monitoring conditions and responding where and when it’s possible to do so effectively.
If you notice a location that is unusually hazardous, please report it to the Municipal Office by phone, in person, or through the contact form on our website.
Thank you for your patience. Please drive carefully and allow our crews the space they need to work safely.
