Huron Shores Trails

Stretching over 3600 km from Prince Township, west of Sault Ste. Marie, to the Quebec border, the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail is a signed route of interconnecting roads and off-road trails joining over 150 communities and First Nations along the Canadian shores of the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River.
Explore Canada’s national trail, the longest network of multi-use recreational trails in the world.
The Voyageur Trail Association (VTA) vision is to work with volunteers and partner organizations to build a continuous wilderness-style hiking trail from Sudbury through Sault Ste. Marie to Thunder Bay, a distance of some 1,100 km paralleling the rugged Northern Ontario shores of
Lake Huron and Lake Superior.
Something for everyone. From seasoned riders to first timers, long-range sledders to stay and play enjoyers, Algoma has something for everyone.
Algoma loves snowmobilers And we can’t wait to show you. With urban centres and laid back small towns, Algoma’s peaceful trails always lead to unparalleled comfort, safety and hospitality.
