A Message from the HSFD: We are coming to your house… The Huron Shores Fire Department will be conducting home visits between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. the evenings of January 21, January 28, February 11, and February 18, 2015. The purpose of these visits is to check your home for smoke alarms, CO detectors and answer questions. Fire Department members conducting visits will be wearing Fire Department jackets and carrying photo identification. In addition to smoke alarms, CO Alarms are now required in all homes. Should your home not have the required smoke or CO detectors, the Fire Fighters will offer to assist as best they can. We ask for your cooperation, by allowing us to do a quick inspection (5 to 10 minutes). We regret we cannot get to all the homes in the Municipality, but if you would like to be placed on a guaranteed home visit list, please call the Municipal Office at 705-843-2033. Thank you. Fire Chief G. Medve
