As cold weather continues, we want to remind everyone to take extra precautions during periods of extreme cold, winter storms, and dangerous wind chill conditions.

Why this matters:
Extreme cold and wind chill can affect anyone, especially children, seniors, people who work outside, and pets. Prolonged exposure can lead to frostbite and hypothermia more quickly than you might think, even at temperatures that feel moderate when dressed improperly.

✅ Avoid prolonged outdoor activity in severe cold
✅ Check weather and wind chill forecasts before heading out
✅ Bring an emergency kit if travelling (include blankets, water, snacks and a phone charger)
