The Municipal Office and all Waste Sites will be CLOSED on Monday, August 1st, 2016, for the Civic Holiday.  The Office will re-open on Tuesday, August 2nd, at 8:30 a.m.  The Waste Sites will re-open at their usual Summer Hours of Operation:  Wednesday, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.

If you’re in the area be sure take in some of the Thessalon Community Days activities that begin the evening of Thursday, July 28th.  On the Civic Holiday Monday, the Thessalon Township Heritage Association hosts its popular annual Country Fair and Silent Auction from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at its Heritage Park Museum, located at 2 Little Rapids Road, approximately 4 kms north of Thessalon off Highway 129.
