We know many Huron Shores residents are still dealing with the effects of this spring’s flooding. Recovery takes time, and we want to make sure you’re aware of available support options.

As part of the ongoing recovery efforts, the Municipality of Huron Shores is reminding residents that if your home, cottage, or property sustained damage due to recent flood conditions, you are encouraged to complete the Disaster Recovery Assistance for Ontarians (DRAO) preliminary form. This important first step allows the Province to assess the extent of local impacts and determine whether financial assistance will be made available.

If you have questions or need help filling out the form, please don’t hesitate to contact the Municipal Office at 705-843-2033 — we’re happy to assist.
