Rod Carley is the author of four works of humorous literary fiction, with short stories and creative non-fiction featured in a variety of literary magazines. He has been a finalist for the Carter V. Cooper Short Fiction Prize and was long-listed three times for the Leacock Medal for Humour.

In addition to his writing, Rod has directed and produced over 150 stage productions, including numerous adaptations of Shakespeare, and has been recognized with several prestigious awards throughout his career.
