The Huron Shores Fire Department has LIFTED the Fire Ban for the Municipality, effective June 4th, 2012.  The Ban was originally imposed on May 14th.  Please call the Municipal Office (705) 843-2033 to renew your Open Air Burning Permit.  Callers must be able to quote the permit number and the responding fire station in order to be renewed for a further two-week period. If renewing in person at the Municipal Office, bring the permit with you.  The Fire Department wishes to remind residents that NO DAYTIME BURNING IS PERMITTED and to follow the conditions listed on the back of each permit.
