Mississagi River Monitoring Committee – Spring Flow Debrief (RESCHEDULED FROM JULY 9TH, 2025) The Municipality of Huron Shores invites residents and community members to attend a Mississagi River Monitoring Committee meeting, focused on a debrief of the 2025 spring flow event and ongoing monitoring of the Mississagi River system. This session will include participation from the regulatory authority, offering residents an opportunity to learn more about how river flows are managed, and to ask questions about the processes and coordination in place during high water events. Topics Will Include: Overview of 2025 water level conditions and contributing factors Background on river flow management practices Opportunities for community awareness and input This session is open to all residents interested in better understanding how high water events are monitored and managed along the river system. The meeting will be held live on Zoom on Thursday, July 31st, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. An in-person option is also available at the Municipal Office at 7 Bridge Street.
