Municipal Office Closure – November 11, 2025 Please be advised that the Municipality of Huron Shores will be CLOSED in observance of Remembrance Day on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Remembrance Day is a time for reflection and gratitude — an opportunity for all Canadians to pause, remember, and give thanks to the men and women who have made sacrifices in times of war, conflict, and peacekeeping. Their courage and commitment continue to shape our nation’s values of freedom and democracy.🌺 Residents are encouraged to attend one of the local Remembrance Day Ceremonies taking place within our area:📍 Iron Bridge Cenotaph – Ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m.📍 Thessalon Cenotaph – Ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m. These community gatherings provide an important opportunity to come together in remembrance and reflection. Everyone is welcome to attend and participate in paying tribute to our Veterans, active service members, and all those who have given their lives in service to our country. As we pause for a moment of silence on November 11, may we each carry forward the legacy of those who served and ensure that their sacrifices are never forgotten.🕊️ 🌺 Lest We Forget
