The Municipality of Huron Shores is now governed by 7 elected members of Council comprised of the Mayor and 6 Councillors representing the 4 Wards. Following the 2022 election Council reduced in size for the 2022-2026 term – from 9 members of Council to 7, including Head of Council. Integrity Commissioner Report on Councillor Roger Mulligan
At the Regular Meeting of Council held on January 15, 2025, the Municipality of Huron Shores Council passed the following motion addressing the report received from the Integrity Commissioner in regards to the conduct of Councillor Roger Mulligan under the Municipality’s Code of Conduct:
“WHEREAS the Integrity Commissioner has submitted a report dated January 15, 2025, regarding Councillor Roger Mulligan’s conduct under the Municipality of Huron Shores Code of Conduct;
AND WHEREAS Section 223.6(3) of the Municipal Act, 2001, requires that such reports be made public to ensure transparency and accountability;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the report of the Integrity Commissioner regarding Councillor Roger Mulligan be received for information;
AND THAT the report be posted on the municipal website in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Act, 2001.”
