2014 Municipal Election Information for Candidates & Voters The next Election Day for all municipalities in the Province of Ontario will be Monday, October 27, 2014. Nomination forms may be filed by candidates anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Municipal Office beginning Thursday, January 2/14 until 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 12/14. A nomination form must be filed with the Clerk/Administrator before spending or raising any money for campaign activities. The filing fee is $100.00 except for the office of Head of Council which is $200.00. Detailed guidance is available in the 2014 Candidates Guide.
