📬 The Municipality of Huron Shores will be mailing out final tax bills during the week of August 24, 2026. A copy of the Municipality’s Fall Newsletter will also be included with the mailing, so be sure to watch your mailbox!

As of 2026, property tax installments are due on the:

Fourth Friday of March
Fourth Friday of May
Fourth Friday of September
Fourth Friday of November

Residents are encouraged to mark these dates on their calendars and ensure payments are received by the applicable due date.


📬 Mailing Address

The Municipality strives to ensure tax notices are mailed to the most recent address listed on the assessment roll. If your mailing address has changed, please complete the Mailing Address Change Form available on the Municipality’s website or contact the Municipal Office at 705-843-2033.

Please Note: It is the responsibility of the taxpayer to ensure payments are made on time, regardless of receipt of the tax notice.


💳 Payment Options

  • e-Transfer: The Municipality is set up for auto deposit Interac e-Transfers for tax payments as well as other payments. Funds can be sent to eft@huronshores.ca
  • Interac/Debit Card: Interac/Debit card services are available at the Municipal Office. Fees may apply.
  • E-Payments: Online payments are available through eBilling. Set up your account by following the step-by-step instructions below. Each tax bill must be paid individually.
    When making a payment, please include your 19-digit roll number without dashes (e.g., 5724000001135790000). Your PIN can be found on your tax bill as shown below.
    Please allow up to two (2) business days to receive your account confirmation.
    Note: A service fee will be charged by the provider.
  • Canadian Financial Institution: Payment may be remitted via your financial institution branch, by telephone or online. Note: When paying taxes online or by telephone, if you have more than one tax bill, to ensure the correct amounts are applied to the respective tax bills.
  • Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) Tax Payment Program: Ratepayers can voluntarily enter into a program, authorizing your financial institution to make property tax payments on your behalf through automatic withdrawals from your bank account.   • Cash or cheques, in Canadian funds are also accepted.
  • Wire Transfer: Property tax payments may also be made by wire transfer. Please ensure all required details are included with your payment to avoid delays in processing:
