National AccessAbility Week: #EveryoneEverywhere The Municipality received the following announcement from the Rick Hansen Foundation: “Hello, It’s National AccessAbility Week! With one in five Canadian adults currently living with a disability and the growing number of seniors, improving accessibility is more important than ever. In honour of Rick’s Man In Motion World Tour, the Foundation has launched a new initiative called #EveryoneEverywhere to increase awareness of the importance of accessibility. #EveryoneEverywhere means maximizing the potential of all through physical freedom. Whether at work, at school, at play, a public building or a private business, it means getting all people, regardless of their ability, to all places. I encourage you to visit the campaign webpage to watch powerful videos about the positive impact of improved accessibility, and share the message this week with your networks to demonstrate your support. My sincere thanks for your continued support of people with disabilities. Together we can ensure everyone can go everywhere! Sincerely, Jeffrey Feldman, Donor Services Rick Hansen Foundation “
