Clause 53(5)(a) of the Planning Act

The Municipality of Huron Shores has received an Application for Consent File No. 2023-C-01. The application proposes to sever a 10.5 acre (4.2 hectare) parcel of land, from the retained 13.47 acre (5.5 hectare) of land being described as LEFROY SEC 26 SE1/4 PT PCL 2844 ACS, in the Municipality of Huron Shores. A Special Public Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023 at 7pm.

The purpose of this notice is to inform the public of the nature of the application, invite public input, advise on how to make comments on the application and advise the public of future notification and appeal rights. If a person or public body that files an appeal in respect to the proposed consent does not submit written comments to the Municipality before the Municipality gives or refuses to give a provisional consent, the Ontario Land Tribunal may dismiss the appeal. If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Council of the Municipality in respect to the proposed consent, you must make a written request to the Municipality at the above address. Appeal of a decision of the Municipality in respect of this consent may be made by any person or public body not later than 20 days after notice of the decision is given.
