The Thessalon Horticultural Society will be sponsoring a free planting event for children before Mother’s Day, at the Thessalon Community Garden located between the Credit Union and Sinton Tavern. The Horticultural Society will have pots, soil, and flowers ready to be planted. Each child will plant a pot and take it home. This popular event has been sponsored by the Horticultural Society for many years and they hope the number of children attending will increase.
