Black ice is difficult to see and can create extremely slippery conditions for both drivers and pedestrians. Please use caution and consider the following safety tips: 🚗 For Drivers: Slow down and increase your following distance Avoid sudden braking, accelerating, or sharp turns Watch for icy areas on bridges, hills, curves, and shaded sections of road Use winter tires and ensure your vehicle is in good winter condition 🚶 For Pedestrians: Wear proper footwear with good traction Walk slowly and take short steps Use handrails where available Be extra cautious on sidewalks, stairs, and parking areas 🚧 Municipal Operations:Public Works crews are monitoring conditions and responding as needed.
