Half-Load Restrictions Now in Effect – March 24, 2026 🚧 Half-Load Restrictions Now in Effect 🚧 Spring thaw has arrived, and half-load restrictions are now in place on all municipal roads in the Municipality of Huron Shores. During this time of year, roads become soft and more vulnerable to damage from heavy loads. To help protect our road network and reduce costly repairs, weight limits are temporarily required. 🚛 What does this mean?Heavy vehicles are limited to 5 tonnes per axle while restrictions are in effect. 🚧 As restrictions take effect, residents will notice half-load signage being installed across the municipality by our Public Works team. ✔ Exemptions include:Emergency vehicles, school buses, and vehicles operating under valid permits.
