Public Advisory Update – Flood Watch (Mississagi River and Area) Date: April 30, 2026 The Municipality of Huron Shores advises that discharge rates at the Red Rock Dam are currently approximately 675 cubic metres per second (cms). Residents are strongly encouraged to monitor conditions closely and continue to take precautions to protect property and ensure personal safety. At this time: Portions of Mississagi Crescent, Bolton River Road, and Cameron Road are closed due to high water Localized flooding of low-lying areas and yards has been observed Public Works crews are actively monitoring conditions and responding as required The Municipality continues to monitor the situation closely and will provide updates as conditions evolve.
