Huron Shores Seeking Proposals for Recreation Centre Roof Replacement The Municipality of Huron Shores continues to seek proposals from qualified contractors for the replacement of the roof system at the Huron Shores Recreation Centre, located at 1 Chiblow Lake Road in Iron Bridge. For generations, the Recreation Centre has played an important role in our community. Residents may remember its years as a natural ice arena, while others know it as the home of Fall Fair activities associated with the Iron Bridge Agricultural Society’s 138-year tradition. More recently, the facility has welcomed youth volleyball nights and other community activities that bring residents together. As one of the Municipality’s important community facilities, the Recreation Centre continues to support recreation, local traditions, and opportunities for expanded community use. The planned roof replacement project will help ensure the building remains a valued community asset for years to come.
