Beharriell Park & Boat Launch

Located on Lake Huron’s North Channel, Beharriell Park & Boat Launch serves as a gateway to the Mississagi Delta Provincial Nature Reserve. Named in honour of Clifford “Burns” Beharriell, whose contribution helped establish the park, the site provides seasonal access to one of Ontario’s most significant coastal landscapes. Visitors can explore a remarkable network of channels, islands, wetlands, and shoreline habitats by boat, canoe, or kayak.

The area supports diverse plant and wildlife habitats, making it a popular destination for nature appreciation, birdwatching, photography, paddling, and fishing.

Visitors can enjoy a full day on the water or along the shoreline with amenities including picnic tables, a seasonal portable washroom (available from Victoria Day weekend through mid-September), and a change facility.
