The Municipality of Huron Shores wishes to advise residents and visitors that an important phase of the Potomac Bridge replacement project will take place Monday, August 10 through Thursday, August 13, 2026.

Anyone travelling through the area should be prepared for delays throughout this period as crews complete work on the new bridge.

Based on the current construction schedule, periods of significant traffic delays are anticipated during this phase of the project.

As there is no alternate route through the area, travellers are encouraged to allow extra travel time and plan accordingly.
