Every business/organization in Ontario with one or more employees is required to comply with the mandatory accessibility Standards of the Integrated Accessibility Standard (ISAR), the next step in Accessibility Compliance.
This full-day workshop is similar to a train-the-trainer to support business owners, managers, and HR professionals to implement the AODA requirements into their organizations’ policy directives and business practices and comply with the Provincial Standards.  Through hands-on learning, real life examples, and practical solutions participants build their knowledge, skills, and build their “disability confidence” implementing this next phase of accessibility.
The Accessibility Directorate has started accessibility compliance audits – some businesses in Sault Ste. Marie have already experienced fines for non-compliance.  Don’t let this happen to you!
This training will save you Time and give you Peace of Mind in complying with this Standard.

Leave with:

  • Draft copy of Multi-year Integrated Accessibility Policy.
  • Understanding of timelines on how your organization must comply.
  • Templates, checklists, and resources to meet the new Employment Standard requirements.
  • Staff training resources to meet compliance requirements.
  • How to use accessibility as a marketing and community building tool.
  • Guarantee to pass government accessibility audit.

Did we say peace of mind?
