The Huron Shores Fire Department is coming to you! From October 5 to October 16, 2026, the Huron Shores Fire Department will be conducting home fire safety inspections throughout Huron Shores.

Inspections will take place in the evenings between 6:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. and are a great opportunity to make sure your home is fire safe and ask questions about fire prevention.

And don’t forget! Fire Prevention Week is October 4–10! Take a few minutes to test your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, review your escape plan and make fire safety a priority in your home. 🔥🧯
