Fire Dept Crest

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Fire Prevention Week.

Every year, the Fire Department issues an important message regarding Fire Safety and this year is no exception. This year’s message is:

Fire Education should not only take place in schools. People of all ages are at risk of fire. In a fire, mere seconds can make the difference between a safe escape or tragedy.

Plan and practice a home Escape Plan, and make sure your smoke alarms and CO detectors are in good working condition.

Did you know that you should be changing the batteries in your smoke alarms and CO detectors twice each year?

Book a home inspection (free of charge!) by calling 705-843-2033.
