Huron Shores Fire Ban NoticeOriginal Message, June 15, 2012:  The Huron Shores Fire Department has imposed a Fire Ban effective immediately, and until further notice.  All Open Air Burning Permits issued this season are invalid and NO PERMITS will be issued or renewed while the Ban is in effect.  Small, contained fires are permitted for cooking and/or warmth.  Always ensure that firefighting tools are nearby i.e. water, shovels etc.  and that the campfire is thoroughly extinguished before you leave the site.  NEVER LEAVE A FIRE UNATTENDED.  For additional information or queries contact the Municipal Office (705)-843-2033 or visit the Fire Department page of this site.
