The Iron Bridge Museum & Tourist Information Centre was pleased to host the first Heritage Tea Thursday of the season on July 9, 2026, welcoming 9 local residents for an afternoon of tea, conversation, and local history.

The topic, Families, gave visitors the opportunity to explore local family histories, browse historical information, and share memories and stories from across Huron Shores. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with conversation, laughter, and community connections.

The Municipality of Huron Shores extends a sincere thank you to Joanne Marck and Susanne Singleton of the Museum Board for their time, knowledge, and dedication in organizing and hosting the event.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for future Heritage Tea Thursdays as we continue celebrating the people, places, and stories that have shaped our community.
