Iron Bridge Farmers’ Market & Museum Open: June 28 The Iron Bridge Farmers’ Market opens for the season on Saturday, June 28th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Gazebo at the Iron Bridge Historical Museum, 1 James Street. The Farmers’ Market is held weekly until the end of September. Featured items include: local produce, jams and jellies, handicrafts, yard sale items, jewellery, woodworking, and more. The Iron Bridge Historical Museum will also open for the season on Saturday. The Museum is open daily throughout the summer months from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Closed July 1, Canada Day, and September 1, Labour Day); September 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday to Monday. Admission is by donation. Facilities include accessible public washrooms, picnic tables and the gazebo that provides a shady place to share a picnic lunch during the week, as well as housing the Farmers’ Market on Saturdays. The Museum will also be hosting two exhibits this summer: July 13-19: Huron Shores – A subtle beauty: featuring depictions of the Municipality by local artists; and August 10-16: Ice Ages: Chillin’ Out in Huron Shores – A Study of Ice Age Features in Huron Shores. A free children’s arts program, supplies included, is also offered periodically throughout the summer months.
