Iron Bridge Historical MuseumThe Iron Bridge Farmers’ Market opens for the season on Saturday, June 28th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Gazebo at the Iron Bridge Historical Museum, 1 James Street.  The Farmers’ Market is held weekly until the end of September.  Featured items include:  local produce, jams and jellies, handicrafts, yard sale items, jewellery, woodworking, and more.

Tulloch/Carlyle HouseThe Iron Bridge Historical Museum will also open for the season on Saturday.  The Museum is open daily throughout the summer months from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Closed July 1, Canada Day, and September 1, Labour Day); September 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday to Monday. Admission is by donation.  Facilities include accessible public washrooms, picnic tables and the gazebo that provides a shady place to share a picnic lunch during the week, as well as housing the Farmers’ Market on Saturdays. The Museum will also be hosting two exhibits this summer:  July 13-19:  Huron Shores –  A subtle beauty:  featuring depictions of the Municipality by local artists;  and August 10-16:  Ice Ages:  Chillin’ Out in Huron Shores – A Study of Ice Age Features in Huron Shores.  A free children’s arts program, supplies included, is also offered periodically throughout the summer months.
