Due to the ongoing poor air quality resulting from wildfire smoke affecting our region, the Iron Bridge Museum & Tourist Information Centre will remain closed today, Thursday, July 16, 2026.

This decision has been made to help protect the health and safety of our staff, students, and visitors. Air quality conditions continue to fluctuate, and we encourage everyone to take appropriate precautions and limit outdoor exposure when possible.

Please note that the public washroom located at the Museum will remain open and available for use during regular hours.

We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as we respond to these conditions.

We will continue to monitor air quality conditions and provide updates as they become available. We encourage residents and visitors to follow the Municipality of Huron Shores on social media and subscribe to our website to stay informed about the Iron Bridge Museum & Tourist Information Centre, municipal services, and other important community updates.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
