May 19-25: National Public Works Week

Council supported, via Resolution #19-07-28 dated April 10/19, the request from the Ontario Chapter of the Canadian Public Works Association to proclaim the week of May 19-25/19 as National Public Works Week.  The resolution follows:

“BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Huron Shores supports Angela Storey, 2019 President of the Ontario Chapter of the Canadian Public Works Association by designating the week of May 19-25, 2019 as National Public Works Week;
AND THAT we recognize the substantial contributions that our public works professionals, engineers, managers and employees make to protecting our national health, safety, and quality of life.”
