Mississagi River Monitoring & Council Meeting – July 9, 2025 The Municipality of Huron Shores invites all residents to attend two important meetings taking place on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Both meetings will be held in person at the Municipal Office (7 Bridge Street, Iron Bridge) and available virtually via Zoom, with recordings posted afterward for those unable to attend live. Whether you’re interested in learning more about how river conditions are monitored or staying informed on municipal business, we encourage you to attend one or both sessions. 🌊 1:00 PM – Mississagi River System Monitoring Information Session Join us for a dedicated session focused on a debrief of the 2025 spring flood event and ongoing monitoring of the Mississagi River system. This session will include participation from the regulatory authority, offering residents an opportunity to learn more about how river flows are managed, and to ask questions about the processes and coordination in place during high water events. This is an excellent opportunity for residents — particularly those living along the river — to better understand how high water events are anticipated and managed, and to ask questions directly to those involved in river system coordination.
