New Ward 2 Councillor: Mrs. Debora Kirby At the November 9th, 2011 Regular Meeting of Council Mrs. Debora Kirby was elected to fill the vacant Ward 2 Council seat. Mrs. Kirby and her husband, Dennis, have managed the family farm in Ward 2 for many years. She is currently the President of the Iron Bridge Agricultural Society and has previous volunteer experience on the Huron Shores 10th Anniversary Committee, as the Director of Camp McDougall and involvement with the Iron Bridge United Church. Mrs. Kirby will take the Oath of Office at the November 23rd, 2011 Regular Meeting of Council. Council and Staff look forward to working with Mrs. Kirby to better serve the ratepayers of Huron Shores.
