Notice of Public Meeting re: Site-Specific Zoning Amendment PUBLIC NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENTSection 34 of the Planning Act The Municipality of Huron Shores in the District of Algoma has received a Zoning Amendment Application, File No. 2022-Z-04. The proposed amendment is site-specific to the property described as CON 3 LOT 8NPT PCL 7546 ACS; RP 1R5682 PART 1. A site-specific zoning amendment is being requested to decrease the rear yard setback from 7.5m [24.6ft] to 4.82m [15.8] to accommodate an addition to the main use dwelling in a Waterfront Residential Zone. A Special Public Meeting will be held January 11, 2023. The purpose of this notice is to inform the public of the nature of the application, invite public input, advise on how to make comments on the application and advise the public of future notification and appeal rights. If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Council of the Municipality of Huron Shores in respect of the proposed consent, you must make a written request to the Municipality at the above address. Appeal of a decision of the Municipality in respect of this consent may be made by any person or public body not later than 20 days after notice of the decision is given.
