Notice: Passing of By-law to Amend an Official Plan THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF HURON SHORES NOTICE OF PASSING A BY-LAW TO AMEND AN OFFICIAL PLAN TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Huron Shores adopted By-law # 10-49, being Amendment No. 2 to the former Township of Thessalon Official Plan on September 8, 2010 under Section 17 of the Planning Act R.S.O. 1990, as amended. PURPOSE AND EFFECT: Council initiated this Official Plan Amendment to amend policies of the Thessalon Township Official Plan, to allow for Community Improvement Plans in all policy areas. By updating the wording of the subject Official Plan, the Municipality can access programs and agencies for support and funding assistance.
