UPDATE: November 7th Temporary Closure: Basswood Lake Road Temporary Road Closure Repairs to Basswood Lake Road were completed on November 7th and the road is open to vehicular traffic. ————– Original notice follows: Weather permitting, during the morning of Thursday, November 7th, a portion of Basswood Lake Road will be closed for several hours for replacement of culverts. The closed portion of Basswood Lake Road will be between civic addresses 728 to 803. The steady rainfall currently being experienced may cause a delay in undertaking the road repairs. Local residents, who may have appointments requiring them to travel the noted road should contact the Municipal Office (705-843-2033) to inquire as to alternative routes and/or arrangements. The work being undertaken is part of the ongoing repair efforts following the September flood event.
