North Shore Health Network

Press Release
April 20, 2026

The North Shore Health Network (NSHN) is now accepting applications for individuals interested in serving on its volunteer Board of Directors. NSHN is seeking candidates with a strong vision for the future of rural health care and a commitment to supporting high-quality, compassionate services across the North Shore.

NSHN is governed by a skills-based Board of Directors, with representation from the diverse geographic communities it serves, as well as from Indigenous and Francophone communities. The Board plays a vital role in guiding the organization’s strategic direction and ensuring it continues to meet the evolving health needs of the region.

The Nominating Committee is particularly interested in hearing from members of the Francophone community who live, own property, or conduct business along the North Shore—from Spanish to Echo Bay. However, all interested and qualified individuals are encouraged to apply.

NSHN anticipates three (3) vacancies on its Board of Directors. Directors bring a wide range of backgrounds, skills, and lived experiences that contribute to strong governance and community representation.

Application Details: Interested candidates are asked to submit a cover letter, resume, and completed application package no later than Friday, May 8, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.

Interviews for selected candidates will be conducted during the last two weeks of May 2026.

Application packages are available online at: https://www.nshn.care/board-of-directors
