Public Notice – Sand and Sandbags Available 🚧 The Municipality of Huron Shores would like to advise residents that, in response to current conditions, sand has been made available at the Huron Shores Recreation Centre (1 Chiblow Lake Road, Iron Bridge) for those who wish to fill sandbags to assist in protecting their property against flooding. Residents are encouraged to bring their own bags and shovels and fill sandbags at this location as needed. A limited number of empty sandbags are also available at the Municipal Office on a first come, first served basis. These bags can be taken and filled at the Recreation Centre. Residents are encouraged to take only what is needed. The Municipality will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as required through official communication channels.
