September 20 & 21: Community Gardens Harvest Fest & Open House The North Channel Healthy Kids Community Challenge is hosting a Harvest Fest and Open House at each of the Municipality’s Community Gardens; on Wednesday, September 20th in Little Rapids (4 Little Rapids Rd., next to the Thessalon Twp. Community Centre) and on Thursday, the 21st, at the Iron Bridge Community Garden (next to the Iron Bridge Recreation Centre, 1 Chiblow Lake Rd.). Both Open Houses begin at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to stop by, gather up some delicious veggies, and enjoy a cold drink. The Committee would love to hear any plans you may have for the gardens next spring. Council and staff of the Municipality of Huron Shores would like to thank the volunteers who worked so diligently to establish these gardens for the benefit of the entire community.
