Ansonia Road Reconstruction Project Completed September 4, 2015: The reconstruction work on the portion of Ansonia Road from the Thessalon Rod and Gun Club westward to the intersection with MacLean Road has been completed. There may be some additional remedial works undertaken in the next week to ten days. The Municipality requests that the traveling public continue to be alert for the presence of construction personnel and heavy equipment on Ansonia Road. August 20, 2015 update follows: The reconstruction of the portion of Ansonia Road from the Thessalon Rod and Gun Club westward to the intersection with MacLean Road continues to progress. Work began approximately three weeks ago and is part of the ongoing work to repair infrastructure damaged in the September 2013 flood event. Travelers may experience short delays on this portion of Ansonia Road as vehicular traffic is confined to single alternating lanes with flag persons. The Municipality requests the traveling public to be cautious and watch for construction personnel and heavy equipment in the noted reconstruction zone and in the vicinity of Ansonia Road. The Municipality thanks and appreciates the public for its understanding and patience while this necessary work is completed.
