The Municipality of Huron Shores received funding support for the Ward 4 Recreation Centre from the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program in the amount of $100,000.00 for rehabilitation of the recreation (fitness) centre to accommodate exercise equipment.

The funds were used to repair the foundation and install insulation, drywall, windows, doors, roofing, siding, electrical upgrades and ductless air conditioning. These upgrades will significantly improve the energy efficiency of the building.

Watch for future announcements about the Grand Opening to celebrate these initiatives.
